Today was the day - a year of work was launched. If anyone would have told me 10 years ago that I would be doing what I'm doing today, I think I would have laughed. If anyone would have told me 10 years ago that I was going to grow through coaching, I would have given the look of disbelief. I want to thank Ashley for what she calls “'coaching”, but is actually more than “just” that. I knew I needed a spark to sparkle so that I can grow as a professional, in my role as a manager and also as a team player, and I am very grateful that I was able to do just that through her. I feel like our sessions helped me think outside of the box, explore different approaches while using my strengths (also understanding what they are first) and collaborate with stakeholders on a level that I felt my background didn't suffice in a corporate world. More so, I feel so much more confident in familiar and especially unfamiliar situations, which really helps in setting the path for further growth. Thank you! What you do is so valuable.

“I reached out to Ashley for her expertise on the psycho-emotional impact of change, and she delivered an energising and highly practical session for a group of parents and professionals. In just one hour, she guided us through how to prepare for parental leave and successfully navigate the return to work after such a life-changing experience.
What stood out was how quickly Ashley built trust with the audience through her personal story, while also sharing a clear framework that helped us make sense of the emotional journey of change. She created space for both individual reflection and group dialogue, which made the session engaging and deeply relevant.
Ashley’s warm energy and positive attitude made a challenging topic feel approachable and empowering. My only wish is that we had even more time together for Ashley to be able to share all her knowledge with us.”

"Ashley helped me as a career coach at an interesting junction in my professional career. I was struggling to leap to make big changes, and after going to career coaching sessions with her, I felt more confident in myself, my decisions, and my future path. Ashley is a wonderful listener, and question asker. She asked questions that challenged my brain and made me push myself beyond the simple excuses I had told myself for years. I truly appreciate her work and would recommend anyone to work with her."

Coaching psychology, also known as psychological counseling, and psychotherapy are both forms of professional support for people facing emotional, psychological, or behavioral problems. Although there are some similarities, there are also differences between the two. The main difference between psychological counseling (conducted by psychologists) and psychotherapy (conducted by psychotherapists) essentially lies in the duration of the counselling/therapy and the severity and nature of the problems.
My service falls within the area of psychological counseling.
Psychological counseling generally involves short-term professional support focused on difficult life situations and solving specific problems. In psychological counseling, psychologists work with healthy individuals who are experiencing distress, want to prevent an illness, and therefore wish to proactively change their situation. The duration of counseling is time-limited. In contrast, psychotherapy is typically a longer-term treatment that is not time-limited, and it is suitable for people with a mental illness, deeper-seated emotional problems, and a significant impairment in daily life activities (more information on the American Psychiatric Association).
Psychological counselling, unlike psychotherapy, is not financed by basic Swiss health insurance. Psychological counseling provided by FSP-certified psychologists like myself is partially funded by certain Swiss supplementary insurances. However, there are significant differences among the various supplementary insurances.
Insurance companies who typically cover my services are AXA, Atupri, KPT, Sanitas, Assura, and Groupe Mutuel / Avenir.
If you depend on financial support, I recommend that you speak with your supplementary insurance provider before you use my services.
